| Cheers to all those
who made the effort to come and say goodbye in the
lead-up to Sunday, also thanks a stack to all the
emails of encouragement I've been receiving.
Sunday was pretty stressful, at 2 o'clock I was
still greasing up my bike, but I managed to be
off by 3:30.
I spent the night with Rick in Maidstone before
heading off for Paris first thing Monday.
The trip into Paris, although cold, was pretty
uneventful and by 3:30, Roni (my bike) was safely
strapped on to the autotrain bound for Marseilles
and having found Laura, the 2 of us were able
to have a few relaxing beers before heading off
to Marseilles ourselves.
Today has been a lovely sunny day and we have
spent it cruising from beach to beach.
Tomorrow I will put on my knobblies and do last
minute adjustments to the bike.
